A CAMPAIGN THAT Saw US TURN
COKE CANS INTO READABLE CODES

We launched a range of limited-edition coloured cans,
and with world-first image recognition technology,
turned them into readable codes. Through #colouryoursummer,
the different combinations of cans unlocked a
series of 125 unique games, 70 pieces of branded content,
real world experiences and celebrity meet and greets.

The campaign was supported with a series of online films,
each unlocking a YouTube Innovid games. 

 
 

By Scanning the code at the end of the Flamingo film
a Flamingo Cupcake game was unlocked for teens.

 
 

There was a Muscle Mermaid film for those that like
mermaids - again with a unique code of cans at the end.

 
 

By Scanning the code at the end of the Mermaid Film,
you could try out-muscle a body building mermaid!

 
 

We created a talking Afro film for those who
like their Coke with a side of strange.

 
 

Scanning the Fro film can combination revealed FroFx
which allowed viewers to make the Fro talk.

 
 

Outdoor looked like cans on a billboard to adults but teens who snapped them
unlocked games and prizes with over 180 unique can combinations in outdoor alone .

You could play Coke paddle on mall screens. 

 

 A colour squad was unlocked in stations when snapping
the digital screen handing our prizes and cans of Coke.

 

 

Coke cans were dispensed from billboards
for those in the know about the codes.

 
 

On social the cans were shared for their colours,
we also shared short videos of how to play with the cans to unlock prizes.
